One-Trick Hero

One-Trick Hero is a setting-agnostic one-page RPG for a GM and [theoretically] any number of players.

You are a One-Trick Hero, and as such you make a character who is immensely powerful - but only has one skill. This can be anything you want, though, be it strength, magic, bungie-jumping, origami, etc. 

Your power is possibly limitless, meaning that you can choose to expend however much of it as you want on any given task [meaning you choose how many dice you want to roll]. 

However, the more you use your skill, the better it becomes, and you are in danger of becoming so proficient that you become a sort of angelic being of pure [your skill here]. Do this, and you will forget all your worldly troubles - but this means you'll likely get bored and wander off, failing your quest and losing all your friends. To prevent this, you must manage your GAINS, and strike a balance between using your skill and keeping your power in check.

You must perform ALL actions in relation to this skill, your character's Goal [always in the form "Verb Noun"], and your inventory of 3 items [and your chosen number of d6]. These are your only tools as you progress through your quest, and the only things you ever really have to think about.
